Hello, lovelies! My name is Chelsey, I’m the younger half of
the sister duo and just barely old enough to make our catchy blog title work –
I’ll be turning 21 in 97 days (not that I’m counting). I’m a marketing and finance student at Iowa
State University and am currently a Marketing/Social Media intern for an
advertising agency in Charlotte, North Carolina. The city life has been an adjustment from the
small farm community I grew up in; my friends here have affectionately given me
the nickname “Iowa”, telling me I’m the most stereotypical and naïve small town
girl they know! When I was 19, I started
my own photography business. I knew I wanted to start the business before I
even knew if I would like photography/be good at it. This revelation happened
when I stumbled upon a photography blog (probably due to my Pinterest
addiction!) and just realized how AWESOME of a job photography could be,
allowing me to utilize both my creativity and my business knowledge – the
perfect combination! I had no camera, no experience, and no idea what I was
doing, but I went out on a whim and ordered a camera that very day. A week
later, I registered my business and have been loving it ever since! Another
thing I’m passionate about is music; according to my mom, I’ve been singing
since before I was talking and playing piano since I was old enough to sit up
on the piano bench. I love performing at
local venues, making cover videos, and just jamming out with friends. I’m an excessive to-do list maker,
competitive board gamer, and lover of all things different. So much of what I do is based on my ability
to be creative, so I strive to live a lifestyle that allows me to remain
inspired, fresh, and creatively motivated. I can’t wait to keep exploring, discovering,
and sharing all my adventures with you!
