Meet Rachel

My name is Rachel and I’m one half of the brains behind the blog twentysomethingsisters. I’m also one half of the brains behind my family household. My husband, Nigel, and I got married in 2009 and have been enjoying this crazy thing called life ever since. We live in my husband’s hometown, and although I gripe about it sometimes, its a great feeling to know your neighbors (and the other 900 people in town). Both of us are in the education field, so we work our butts off nine months out of the year and play our butts off the other three months. We bought our home one month before tying the knot and we’ve been renovating it and making it our own ever since. When we aren’t working on home projects, I enjoy getting my craft on, discovering a good vintage find and striving to live a more organized and simple lifestyle.  Although there aren’t any little ones running around our abode, we do share our home with our two four-legged children, Sage and Tungsten. Sage is a soft-coated wheaten terrier and Tungsten is a labradoodle. Join Chelsey and me as we chronicle life in our twenties!
